This past Monday evening found Brown University students listening to a panel of five local people from the Providence, Rhode Island area who are homeless or were formerly homeless sharing their stories. The “Faces of Homelessness” panel helped begin a week of awareness building as part of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week.

At the national level, the week long event is being co-sponsored by the National Coalition for the Homeless and the National Student Campaign Against Hunger & Homelessness.
